Gluten Free is great, but you are defeating the purpose when you add CANOLA OIL, XANTHUM GUM & PALM OIL !!! have you ever considered using OLIVE OIL ?? With the cost, should not be a problem !
- - There is confusion about healthy definition and cancer risk.
- - Canola and palm oil are used instead of olive oil.
- - Xanthan gum is described as very bad.
UDI'S CLASSIC GLUTEN FREE FRENCH ROLLS : is confused over the definition of healthy !
WHY ARE YOU USING CANOLA OIL & PALM OIL INSTEAD OF GOOD OLIVE OIL ? XANTHUM GUM IS VERY BAD ALSO.
WE CERTAINLY PAY ENOUGH TO MAKE UP FOR ANY OVERAGE IT COSTS !! I HAVE NO DESIRE TO DEVELOP KIDNEY CANCER AGAIN, AS I HAVE ONLY ONE KIDNEY LEFT AS IT IS.
I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN YOUR PRODUCT, BUT I WOULD RATHER GO WITHOUT BREAD.
SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY !!
User's recommendation: READ THE INGREDIENT LIST !!!
Noodles missing in lasagna
- - Gluten-free lasagna noodles were missing.
- - Customer service refused replacement or refund, saying the loss was on me.
Purchased the gluten-free lasagna with noodles only to find that the noodles were missing, called their customer service line. A very rude Hindu man told me they would not be replacing the product nor would they be doing anything to refund my money the loss was on me.
User's recommendation: Conagra Foods does not stand behind their product
There is gluten in my Udis gluten free granola I order from Visacost I already reported to them
This is important for us who have to eat gluten free food, now I can't trust Udis foods are gluten free!

Verified ReviewerFalse Advertising, terrible support
- - Box image misrepresents product and serving size.
- - Cites quality issues, holes in bread, burnt lasagna, and poor support; seeks replacement.
I have photos and screenshots to support, currently just fairly angry that the response to my frozen products not AT ALL being reflective of the imagery on the box was "The picture on the box is an indicator of serving size, not meant to be reflective of our actual product."
That is false advertising, plain and simple.
And even more directly, if a customer has a complaint about a product and provides photo support, the additional response of "you must have messed it up, if the product isnt rancid thats just what you get" is ridiculous. Ive been buying Udis products for over a decade because you were one of the first gf providers in my area.
This is just sad, and i have completely lost faith in the company. Product quality has plummeted over the years. I get more air in a loaf of bread than bread. The slices come with massive holes in them, which ive just always attributed to the baking process.
However, now being told DIRECTLY that you INTENTIONALLY sell a sub par product under a false advertised image, I will never recommend your brand again.
I started this process just wanting a single replacement lasagna. Now Im mentally calculating all the Udis prodict issues ive had over the years wondering if i should contact an attorney over false advertising and false product weights. Im like ten seconds away from driving to the store with a kitchen scale to weigh all your loaves of bread for inconsistencies.
Im just an autistic dude with celiac disorder that wanted the lasagna shown on your packaging.
I got a partial single noodle in watery sauce with a clump of burnt imitation cheese. Now ive wasted time, money, and frustration to be told "f off."
Unbelievable.
User's recommendation: Buy other brands. Udis has gone downhill hard.
Bagels
- - I've always bought your bagels, but these are small and squashed.
- - Some aren't circular.
- - Gluten-free foods are expensive; please send a coupon.
Have always bought your bagels but dont know what happened to them this time around. They are small squashed some not even a circle.
The cost of gluten free food is unbelievable in price and I have no choice but to buy.
I took pictures of you need to see them. Please send a coupon for another bag of possible

Verified Reviewer4th time calling avout udis gf pizza crusts and the dates that make no sense
- - Seeks meaning of date codes on UDI pizza crusts.
- - Wants to know freshness or expiry, and how to tell.
- - Notes code 422541**** and frozen shelf life.
I still need to know what the new date codes mean on the UDI's plain pizza crusts. How do I know if they are fresh and not expired?
The last code I see at the store says 422541****. PLEASE EXPLAIN what each of the numbers mean, and if they are fresh.
How long is the shelf life if frozen? Years ago, I was told 4 to 6 months.

Verified Reviewer4th time calling avout udis gf pizza crusts and the dates that make no sense
- - Crust shelf life after new date codes will be discussed in 7–10 days.
- - Expired crusts were found 2–3 years ago; packaging expiration dates needed.
I was told someone higher up would call me in 7 to 10 days to tell me how long the plain pizza crusts are good for, after the new manufacturing date codes on the packages.I'm still finding pizza crusts that expired 2 or 3 years ago on freezer shelves. The vendors are still clueless about date codes.-you need expiration dates on the packages, like the other Udis products.

Verified Reviewer |Udi’s food complaint
- - Target, New Britain, CT, 1/3/2024: Udi's Lasagna noodles were undercooked.
- - Previously fine; now unsure about future purchases; $12 wasted.
I purchased Udis lasanga with meat sauce at Target in New Britain CT on 1/3/2024 and lasanga noodles were under cooked and hard and wasnt able to eat it. I have always purchase Udis Lasanga and have never had a problem prior, lasanga pasta noodles have always been perfectly cooked.
Now Im not too sure if I will continue to purchase if noodles will be underscooked and hard. $12 down the drain so frustrating.
- I love some of udi products
- Lasagna pasta needs to be cooked to perfection
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Udi’s GF lasagna is really good however but keep in mind lasanga pasta can be undercooked and hard. Udi’s foods you need to step it up and fix that problem

- I love these
- Taste amazing

Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Change them to the chocolate chip containers would be nice
Dissatisfied purchase
- - Bought Udi's gluten-free lasagna based on photo.
- - It did not resemble the photo.
- - It was soupy with cheese, no lasagna layers, a waste of $10.97.
I purchased the family Udi's gluten free lasagna. Decision to purchase was based on the product photo and description.
The product was NOTHING like the picture OR description. It was like a container of soupy, mushy mess with cheese. There are no layers as portrayed.
It is nothing like lasagna. $10.97 + tax waste.
User's recommendation: Dont!
Can't find products anywhere
The information given did not help. Target does not carry the products requested. Publix, Walmart, Winn Dixie do not carry Udi's muffins and cinnamon bread anymore.
User's recommendation: Don't waste your time

Verified ReviewerYou have lost a customer!
- - The reviewer, a loyal gluten-free bun buyer, says buns now vary in size and are smaller.
- - Price up to $10; reviewer calls it greedy.
I have been a loyal customer for years because I'm a Celiac.
I was so thrilled to find a burger bun that looked like a regular bun and tasted great I would usually buy at least four or five at a time every two weeks.
The last time I bought them they were seriously so tiny that you might as well call them sliders not the first time this has occurred I might add.
I have dealt with inconsistencies in the past during covid etc and remained calm about it all.
Fast forward to today I bought them and they were 10.00 dollars!
WTF it is bad enough they every body is adding extra charges if it is gluten free but this is beyond ridiculous and Greedy!
Before I was paying 4 and change when I first bought them and even then I felt it was high but now they are 10.00 dollars really?
I call this greedy gouging too the tenth power so you can keep your 10.00 dollar shrink flation hockey pucks I'm done you have lost a loyal customer.
- Great taste
- Over priced and inconsistencies in product
Preferred solution: Price reduction

- - A staff member said Acme carries the bread I was looking for.
- - Two nearby Acmes did not carry Udi Ancient Grain Millet Chia.
The person was very helpful and told me Acme grocery carried the bread I was looking for. However when I called 2 different Acmes in my neighborhood they did not carry the product - Udi Ancient Grain Millet Chia.
Can you please let me know which Acme has the bread. Thank you

Verified ReviewerI LOVE the flavor of their breads
I called to find out if they made pocket bread, but they don't have a record of doing so! I also discovered that they were bought out by another company.
User's recommendation: Check out their bread; if the new company keeps it the same, it's great!

Verified Reviewer |Ask if you make pocket bread
You put too many categories for rating, and I CANNOT answer them all! I give Udi's breads an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5.
She said they don't show that they make pocket bread, but she'll submit it as a suggestion. Other than that, she wasn't sure if they'd contact me if they DID start making this type of bread. I really PREFER pocket bread over regular bread...
- Love the flavor
- Decently priced
- Hard to find at my local walmart
Preferred solution: Notice that you started making pocket bread! I am definitely NOT a "pissed" customer, I absolutely LOVE the flavor of Udi's breads!!!! (At least the one I managed to buy in late 2021)
User's recommendation: I really LOVE the flavor of Udi's breads!
